Drop in and discover the joy of watercolor painting! You may use our materials to create whatever you like. No experience is required, and beginners are encouraged to attend.
All materials will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own supplies/projects if you prefer. Use this time to enjoy the synergy of sharing a creative space!

Our walking club is perfect for those wanting to get moving while socializing! Now that the weather is warmer, we'll walk the paved trails at Perry Farm Park. Please meet us in the parking lot beside the Exploration Station (1095 Perry St, Bourbonnais, IL 60914).

You will get an unforgettable book pick (that you may have never chosen for yourself), and it also comes with other goodies! Just visit the Information Desk at the library and fill out a Book Box Subscription Form to turn in before the end of the month. We can't wait to put together some literary magic for you! Ages 18 and up.
Drop in and create two greeting cards! We'll have an example card you may recreate, or use an assortment of materials to make your own unique design. Afterward, you will be able to take your cards home.

Level up your creativity with us this summer by learning to paint en plein air!
En plein air is a French expression meaning “in the open air," and refers to the act of painting outdoors with the artist’s subject in full view.
Local artist (and BPL staff member!) Christina Loraine will show you how to capture the essence of nature in acrylic paint at scenic Willowhaven Park! All materials will be provided.
Ages: adults & high school students Advance registration is required.
Park in the lot near the barn-like building and follow the paved path around the left side of the building to the pavilion.
We will sit at picnic tables.

We will still meet if it is lightly raining, as the pavilion offers plenty of coverage.

Step into the rhythm & level up your fun factor with experienced instructors Roylene LeBeau & Shelia Pfaff. This class is for beginners and is perfect for adults at various fitness levels! Registering for this class reserves your spot for all four dates. Each class will build upon the last and reinforce what you've learned.

We are a community of writers who love to write and share our work! Each meeting includes time to work on short writing prompts, which we use to spark our creativity and produce unique pieces of writing! We also share opportunities for publication.
Whether you're a seasoned writer or just starting, we welcome you to join our creative writing group. We hope to inspire and support each other as we explore the limitless possibilities of the written word.
Feel free to bring something you're working on if you'd like to share it with the group and receive feedback!
