Learn to use free library databases to find valuable company, industry and financial information for your small business or job seeking activities. During this virtual hands-on demonstration, participants will learn how to use Business Insights: Essentials, Business Source Premiere, First Research, Hoover’s and Reference USA. With these five databases, you will be able to analyze local and national industry trends, locate full-text news and articles from trade journals, identify relevant SWOT reports and generate key contact lists for marketing, networking or sales activities.  
VIRTUAL: Census Tool

Learn how to use Census Bureau data and information for your small business activities. Participants will learn how to use various tools and datasets to identify key information about your industry, suppliers, competitors, customers and community. Specific tools discussed will include the Census Business Builder (CBB), American Community Survey, Economic Census and County Business Patterns. There will also be a brief discussion on how census data is collected and analyzed by the Census Bureau.
