Tuesday, Apr. 27, 10 a.m.-10:30 a.m.
Introduce your little ones to the magical world of shadow puppetry with Daniel Barash of Firelight Shadow Theater!

The Takoma Park Maryland Library is proud to present “Me and My Shadow” for ages 2-4 (and their grownups!) on Tuesday, April 27, 10:00-10:30.

On Saturday, April 24, starting at 12:00, pick up a grab-and-go shadow puppetry craft kit outside the library at our Books-to-Go location (at 101 Philadelphia Ave.) No signup for grab-and-go bags. You can, if you want, sign up for the Zoom program at tinyurl.com/tplibraryevents

After introducing us to the wonder of shadow puppetry, Daniel will share five shadow puppetry versions of best-loved nursery rhymes.

At the end of the assembly, Daniel will teach audience members how to create shadow puppets and a shadow screen from scratch, and provide free online access to puppet templates and a nursery rhyme script, so families can continue the fun at home.  See you in the land of shadows!
