Each month we'll feature a different genre, topic, author, or time period and share our favorite recommendations related to that theme. No assigned readings, just a chance to meet people, talk about things you love, and perhaps pick up a few suggestions on things that will become your new favorite obsession. Join The Community Library for a basic crochet class presented by talented local crochet artist Kristi Goodrich. Kristi will provide an easy-to-follow introduction to the fundamental crochet skills necessary to get first-timers started on simple, fun projects. This course will also provide the basics necessary to attend the intermediate crochet program scheduled for February. All required supplies will be provided, so please register in advance so we can have enough kits for all participants. Ages 8 and up welcome. Sponsored by The Community Library.

This special workshop will focus on making amigurumi--adorable crochetd stuffed animals. Talented crochet artist and teacher Kristi Goodrich will walk you through the basic skill necessary to complete a simple project and provide guidance on how to develop those skills for more advanced projects. All supplies will be provided.

NOTE: This is an intermediate workshop for people who already have basic crochet skills.

Advanced registration is required because seating is limited and we need to prepare supplies and materials in advance. Sponsored by The Community Library.
