RUGGLES OF RED GAP (1935) (90 min.) Not Rated

The magnificent Charles Laughton stars as a very proper British butler whose aristocratic employer loses him in a poker game to a wily American with a social climbing wife.  It is one of those fish out of water scenarios but it is such fun to watch.  Also starring Charles Ruggles, Mary Boland, and Roland Young.

MEAN GIRLS (2024) (112min.) Rated PG-13

This film is a new adaptation of the original movie which is based on the Broadway musical. The  new cast includes  Renee Rapp, Angourie Rice, Auli’i Cravalho, and , of course, Tina Fey. We all go back to high school in this one.
