Story Time - Kindnes

We’ll read some stories, make some crafts, sing, groove, and play to start our day.

The teen advisory board is made up of teenagers in middle and high school who have a desire to help their community and a love for the library. Work together with your peers to create and run programs and build community.

The library will close at 3pm today.

The library will be closed on Dec. 25th for Christmas.

Spend some time relaxing and reading quietly at the library. Curl up in a cozy nook, color, or enjoy some hot chocolate.

Adults with questions about their personal devices - How do I send emails on my phone? How can I make text messages easier to read? Where do I find ebooks? - can stop in to the library to get one on one help with their questions.
Thursday, Jan. 2, 4:30pm-5:30pm
Come practice the art of writing beautifully. We will be using a variety of materials and methods to create projects that feature artistic lettering of all kinds. From everyday notetaking to comics and vision boards, writing is everywhere. With a lot of patience and a little practice your penmanship will shine! Materials will be provided. Registration helps us provide the "write" materials ;). Ages 10-13

Come to the library to get some wiggles out! Learn to use movement to tell a story. Using various props, games, and music we will play with movement and strengthen our bodies in a fun way. Ages 3-4.

Elementary and middle schoolers are welcome to come and enjoy Lego Challenges and expand their creativity and construction skills.

The Friends of the Berlin Public Library will meet to discuss upcoming fundraising activities and goals for supporting the library in 2025. All are welcome to attend.
Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2:00pm-3:00pm
Bring your current craft project and work on in with a group of other crafters! Gain some inspiration and motivation to finish that sweater you started to knit, or your latest cross stitch pattern. This is not an instructional program, but beginners might find some good advice in the group. Please bring your own supplies.
Wednesday, Jan. 8, 6:00pm-8:30pm
Get together with a gaming master to learn some new board games. Or, if you want to share one you and your family love, bring it in a box labeled with your name. Everyone is welcome!

Winter brings grey and chilly weather. Join us at the library for some open-ended play. We have warm comfy seating and plenty of toys. Come relax and socialize in the children's room. Snacks are welcome but will not be provided for this program.
