The library wants to hear from you! Help us improve our programming schedule by taking a brief (5 minute) survey and letting us know what free program topics you and your family would like to see and when is the best time to run them.

Pirate Playtime Stor

Ahoy, Mateys! This week wear your piratical best if you wish! We will be reading fun and exciting stories about pirates, singing, and playing together. Story time runs every Monday at 11am, except for when the library is closed for holidays. All ages are welcome to join us as we read a book together to start our week!
Friends of the Libra

The Friends of the Berlin Public Library will be hosting their book sale on Saturday, September 21st at the library from 10am-1pm. They will have books for adults and children, fiction and nonfiction. Weather permitting, the sale will be outdoors.
Awesome Autumn Story
Monday, Sep. 23, 11:00 am
This week we'll celebrate the beginning of fall! Wear fall colors if you've got 'em! Story time runs every Monday at 11am, except for when the library is closed for holidays. All ages are welcome to join us as we read a book together, sing, make some art, and play together to start our week!
Pajama Storytime
Wednesday, Sep. 25, 5:00-6:30pm
Join us for an out of this world evening. Come dressed in your pajamas if you wish. Bring your favorite stuffed friend and a blanket and get cozy. We'll do a little yoga, read some calm quiet stories, and wind down for the night. 
Adult Book Club: The
Thursday, Sep. 26, 6:00pm
We will be discussing The Queen of Dirt Island by Donal Ryan. Copies of the book are available for check out at the library, and ebook and audiobook versions are available on Libby.
Puzzle Race
Saturday, Sep. 28, 11:00 am-12:30 pm
Join us for a suspenseful afternoon of competitive puzzle assembly. Patrons can sign up in teams of between 2-6. All teams will be given the same puzzle and race to see who completes it first!
We will provide the puzzles, you bring the brains! All ages welcome!
Count On Us Story Ti

This week we'll learn about numbers. We'll play counting games, sing, make art, and play together. Story time runs every Monday at 11am, except for when the library is closed for holidays. All ages are welcome to join us as we read a book together to start our week!
Wednesday, Oct. 2, 5:00-7:30pm
Get together with a gaming master to learn some new board games. Or, if you want to share one you and your family love, bring it in a box labeled with your name. Everyone is welcome!

Get together with your friends to relax and craft with Perler beads.

This week we'll read all about some jobs we can do when we are older. We will play, sing, wiggle, and dream!

Jecky and Bonathan play thoughtful and fun kids music. Join them for a concert- on the lawn if it is nice, indoors if it rains. Come bounce and bop with us!
Thursday, Oct. 10, 4:00 pm-5:00 pm
In honor of National Taco Day lets make a cute taco key chain from felt. Experiment with different colors, methods, and designs.
Saturday, Oct. 12, 11:00 am
Come compete in Lego challenges, or just have fun building Lego with your friends. Additionally, if you have an outgrown costume or six, you are welcome to wash them and bring them to swap. Even if you did not bring a costume to the library, you are welcome to bring one home. Maybe someone has your dream costume or accessory! Or maybe you are excited to build your newest masterpiece. Come create with your friends!

A support group for all new parents, both expecting and already there. Learn about local and library resources to help you along your parenting journey. Meet other parents and regional guest speakers. Toys are available for children. Please don’t hesitate to bring a snack and drink if you need it. 
Thursday, Oct. 17, 4:00 pm-5:00 pm
Come and draw with your friends. Share your art with others and check out drawing books the library has on hand. Supplies will be available.
Indigenous Music in
Saturday, Oct. 19, 1:00 pm-2:30 pm
More than powwow drums and wooden flutes, Indigenous music intersects with rock, blues, jazz, folk music, reggae, hip-hop, classical music, and more. It's what gives America's music its distinct flavor. 
Monday, Oct. 21, 11:00 am
This week we'll learn about fire safety. Read a story, make a craft, and get ready to Stop, Drop, and Roll! 
Tuesday, Oct. 22, 11am-12pm
A support group for all new parents, both expecting and already there. Learn about local and library resources to help you along your parenting journey. Meet other parents and regional guest speakers. Toys are available for children. Please don’t hesitate to bring a snack and drink if you need it. 
Wednesday, Oct. 23, 5:00 pm-6:00 pm
Join us for a relaxing evening story hour for pre-schoolers and elementary schoolers. Come dressed in your pajamas, if you wish. Bring your favorite stuffed friend and a blanket and get cozy. We'll meet Fia, read some stories about firefighting and fire safety, do some yoga and crafts, and wind down for the night. Ages 3-10 are welcome.
