Alan Ashworth was introduced to music at a young age by his father
who was a violinist. Alan started taking violin in 5th grade but fell in
love with guitar after seeing the Beatles perform on the Ed Sullivan
Show in 7th grade. He is a current member of the Central Pickers and
pastors two churches in Bastian, VA. Sponsored by The Friends of the Library.
