It's movie day! Come to the Meeting Room at 10 AM and 2 PM for snacks and a movie. Ratings will vary from G to PG. 

The Writers' Group meet the first Monday of the month [except holidays] from 1 to 3 pm. We are a supportive writers’ group – no dues or education/experience requirements.

Join us as we explore a different country every month.  Which country?  It'll be a surprise!  We will taste snacks and other food from the area as well as learn about the country through maps and trivia.  This is a teen event, ages 13-17.

Please let us know if you have any food allergies.  Sponsored by South Montgomery County Friends of the Library.

Calling all trainers! Come hang out with us and talk about all things Pokémon! Feel free to bring cards, games, and plushies to show off and play. Those that play Pokémon Go can expect Lures to be active. Professor Ally will host crafts and trivia as well! For ages 6-12.

Calling all Needlecrafters! Come by the Mitchell Library to socialize while you work on your craft projects. Open to anyone who knits, crochets, embroiders, or does any other needlecraft. Bring your own work-in progress and supplies.
We meet from 10:00-11:30 on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month in the large meeting room.

Come out to West Branch Library for one of our children's play days! Aimed at babies and toddlers, kiddos can come into our meeting room to explore, socialize, and play with a variety of toys for our themed play days! Caregivers are welcome to join in the fun or rest and chat while the kids have a great time! For ages 0-6.

Pop into our meeting room for self-directed arts & crafts! Or if you're in a rush, grab it to go!

Come out to West Branch library for a fun afternoon of board games! A selection of classics and uniqe titles will be avilable for play. Kids are also encouraged to bring their favorites to share with the group! For ages 9-12.

Join an extraordinary adventure campagin! Players can bring their own characters or come 30 minutes early to get help from the DM to make one!. No experience needed to play, beginners welcome! Players are welcome to bring their own supplies, such as dice or writing utensils, but materials will also be available for use! Story requests are welcome! For ages 18+.

Try your best Monet, Kahlo, or Miyazaki in rock form! We have all the tools necessary in our meeting room to break out your artistic talents and imagination!

Adults 18+. Love the books but hate the assigned reading and thinking of what the tree might symbolize? BYOB(ook) and come to the Silent Book Club! We'll spend the first 15 minutes-ish in an entirely participation-optional chat about what books we're currently reading, what we're excited about, and other random book-related things. From then on, it's pure, sweet, uninterrupted silent reading until whenever you want to leave or 7:30—whichever comes first!

We'll have tea, themed book displays to browse from, recommendation lists, and snacks! This club is all about indulging your reading nerd side.
