Children, teens, and adults (grades 6+) are invited to meet author Suzanne Park via Zoom!

Suzanne Park is a Korean-American writer who was born and raised in Tennessee. In her former life as a stand up comedian, Suzanne was a finalist in the Oxygen Network's "Girls Behaving Badly" talent search, and appeared on BET's "Coming to the Stage." Her YA romantic comedy debut, THE PERFECT ESCAPE was released in 2020. Her second YA book, SUNNY SONG WILL NEVER BE FAMOUS, is set for release on June 1, 2021. She currently resides in California with her husband, female offspring, and a sneaky rat that creeps around on her back patio. In her spare time, she procrastinates.

Children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade are invited to join Janet, a volunteer from St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center for an interactive story time program. Children will engage their feelings of compassion and learn what it takes to be a responsible, caring pet owner and caretaker.

As this program is occuring in-person on library grounds, all registrants must agree to our programming guidelines!

Children in grades 4 to 8 are invited to join a Raptor Trust educator virtually on Zoom for a Raptor Adaptations learning experience! From barn owls to hawks and falcons, there are all sorts of raptors out there! We will learn all about them and the adaptations they use as hunters! You will be able to recognize common raptors that live in New Jersey, and discover their role in our ecosystems. Then, prepare for an exciting encounter with a Raptor Trust Bird Ambassador!
