This program is for TEENS who WILL be attending grades 7 and up this fall. If you participated last year, just log in, update your account and start reading! If not, then you'll need to sign up, just click and follow directions! You no longer need a Petoskey District Library card. We will be ask you for a card number (barcode) of your's, your parent's or guardian's card when you register. This is just to help us to communicate with you if you have a card. If you hold a card at another library, you may use that one if you wish. You will need to keep track of the author and title of the books that you read AND the number of hours that it takes to read that book. It would be nice if you would rate your books and write a comment or two but you do not HAVE to. Below is a breakdown of the Prize Levels for the Teen Program: If you read two hours,then you will receive a Program Participation Certificate. If you read 10 hours, then you will receive: a level 1 sticker on your certificate, your name will be added to the "Wall-of-Fame" and you will get a Level I prize. If you read 25 hours, then you will receive: a special certificate sent to your school in the fall, your name will be added to the Level II "Wall of Fame" and you will receive a Level II prize. You will receive an email when you have reached a prize level, follow the directions inn that email to obtain your rewards. You may keep reading past the goals in order to be the Top Reader in the Teen Program.
