The Modesto Money Mavens will present a fun and informative class on ways to save time and money while shopping. Learn tips, tricks, and smart-phone apps that may save you money. A variety of materials, and coupons, will be given away during the class.
Adulting 101: Resume Workshop

Join us at the Modesto Library for a series of free Adulting programs. Each monthly program will feature a topic that will help you learn valuable "adult" skills. This program series is designed for ages 16 to 25, but all ages are welcome.

This month's program will focus on resume tips and resources. Ninfa Smith from Stanislaus County Office of Education will present information about creating an effective resume and will provide handouts to aid in the process. 

Tax Basics: What You Need To Know
Monday, Feb. 12, 6 to 7 pm
A representative from H&R Block will discuss important topics such as The PATH Act, and tax reform changes. The representative will be available to answer questions regarding tax forms, tax credits, and Affordable Care Act tax information.

Be sure to come in to the Turlock Library to have your tax questions answered before filing your 2017 taxes!
