String Art
Wednesday, Jul. 17, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Create an original piece of dimensional art to give your walls a pop!  On Wednesday, July 17th from 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., come learn the retro craft of string art.  We will teach you how to create the outline with hammer and nails and then weave embroidery floss to fill it in.  All supplies will be provided.  This is a buddy program: parents and grandparents, older siblings, and caregivers work paired to help younger learners (ages 8 and up) complete the craft.  Please note that space is limited for this program and registration is required.   Please sign up both yourself and your buddy.

Bluegrass with Jeff
Wednesday, Jul. 17, 6:30pm

Our outdoor concerts are back for the summer. On Wednesday, July 17th at 6:30 p.m. bring your chair and a picnic dinner to enjoy some bluegrass. As a genuine modern day troubadour, Hartford native, Jeff Blaney returns to his Connecticut roots after years on the Nashville music scene. A singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Jeff Blaney has diverse influences such as bluegrass, country and blues, jazz and classical music.
“Jeff Blaney is a hidden treasure in a sea of musicians in the Nashville scene” says Sarah Bourque of Show The Show.
This concert will be held outside weather permitting, if not join us inside for an evening of music.
