The Friends of the Wheatfield Library hold monthly meetings, held in the library’s meeting rooms. All Friends members and those wishing to join the Friends of the Wheatfield Library are invited to attend these meetings at 1:00 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of the month.

Do you have tech questions about your laptop? Bring your device along with your questions to the Rensselaer Library for ‘Computer Q & A,’ an informal workshop that is open to all ages. Held monthly, future dates & times may vary.

Join us at the Rensselaer Public Library on Tuesday, April 24th @ 6 p.m. for our Men at Home and Abroad in WWI program.  The Rensselaer Library and the Jasper County Historical Society will be presenting a program focusing on the Men who served at home and abroad in WWI.  We will learn about our 19 Gold Star Soldiers and the local soldiers who received awards for exceptional bravery.  We will also discover and explore the hardships of wartime service through personal letters from our soldiers.  This is our third and final program focusing on Jasper County and World War I.  Please stop by Rensselaer Library and see the Jasper County Historical Societies display by Sue Caldwell on WWI in our Genealogy Department.
