Caregiver Support Gr
Malden Branch Library

The Caregiver Support Group meets at 12:30- 2 p.m.on the first and third Fridays each month to provide a place where family and other caregivers can share experiences and strategies to support each other. Melissa Johnson from Rural Resources joins in on the third Fridays to bring resources and opportunities to help lighten the caregiving load. This is your opportunity to save lives by donating blood. Registration is directly on the Inland Northwest Blood Center (INBC) mobile bus at the Whitman County Library. Go to to make your preferred appointment time to avoid the wait!
As the only provider of blood to local hospitals, INBC needs 200 donors per day to supply the community with the components needed for chemotherapy, transfusions, and major surgeries. Call INBC toll free 800-423-0151 for details.

This week we will meet in the park for the Summer Reading finale! We will play games, have a picnic and hand out goodie bags for completers. Bring a finger food to share! Kids are required to read 10 books for younger kids or 10 hours for older kids to complete Summer Reading and receive prizes during the span of the six-week program. Join the Garfield and Palouse Librarires for a fun event at Hayton Greene Park in Palouse on Friday, July 20 at 2 p.m. as they co-host the Traveling Lantern Theatre Company. The Traveling Lantern is presenting the Life of Mozart, a frolicsome, gleeful and historically accurate play about one of the greatest geniuses who ever lived.

Traveling Lantern theatre presents "The Life of Mozart" at Gymkhana Park in Tekoa at 5 pm.  Bring the whole family for a special kind of storytelling.  This frolicsome, gleeful, and historically accurate play about Mozart will be incredible.
