Kids who completed grades 4, 5, 6  meet daily for two weeks to discuss lifeskills, healthy choices, and how to overcome adversity.  Workshops meet daily for two week starting June 18 from 11 a.m. tonoon at the Tekoa Library.  Kids will be fed lunch and given a pool pass each day. Sponsored by Healthy Tekoa Coalition.
Libraries Rock Summe
Uniontown Branch Library

This year's Summer Reading theme is "Libraries Rock!" The 6-week kid's program will consist of music performances, the Science Center's "Sensational Sound" Program and a variety of crafts and games. We will paint rocks, make musical instruments, experiment with dancing oobleck and have a finale in the park with games and treats. More program information will follow in the coming weeks. Kids are required to read 10 books for younger kids or 10 hours for older kids to complete Summer Reading and receive prizes during the span of the six-week program.
