Fit & Fun Exercise,
Colfax Branch Library
Wednesday, Mar. 29, 10 - 11 a.m.
Join Fit and Fun, gentle exercise for adults and seniors on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10-11 a.m. in the Center in Colfax (adjacent to the library). Enjoy a gentle warm-up, low impact aerobic workout, and a soothing cool down. Cost is $5 per class but instructor Nancy Stanard invites you to try your first class for free. Early Release Wednes

Early Learning Storytime at the Albion Library is a FREE program that offers a valuable listening and pre-reading experience for children birth to age 5. Children, parents/caregivers will enjoy engaging stories and participate in imaginative activities that include songs, fingerplays, action activities, crafts, puppets, and more each Wednesday at 10:00 a.m..

First Aid Wednesday,
St John Branch Library
Wednesday, Mar. 29, 12:20 to 1:30
Kids in grade 1-5 are invited to join us to learn about basic first aid at 12:20.  Darin Foster from the American Red Cross will teach kids the importance of knowing basic first aid. They will learn how to bandage a serious cut, tie a sling, and administer back blows and stomach thrusts if someone is choking. We emphasize the importance of calling 9-1-1 first thing in an emergency.  At the end, each student will take home their own practice first aid kit.           
Library staff will walk the kids to the Methodist Church movie after the program.

Lego® Mindstorms

Explore the world of robotics during this free hands-on STEAM program: Introduction to Lego® Mindstorms EV3.

Be Ready - Community
St John Branch Library

Darin Foster from the American Red Cross is coming to St. John to help families in the community for natural disasters.  We discuss disaster plans, means of acquiring information in case of a disaster, and what supplies should be kept on hand.    All ages are welcome.  Activities for young children will be available in the library.
