Colfax Branch Library
Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2-4 pm
Adults of ALL AGES are invited to come enjoy Coffee, Cookies and Coloring from 2 -4 pm on the 1st, 3rd, & 5th Tuesdays of the month downstairs in the meeting room.  Materials are provided, feel free to bring your own and share too! For more information please contact the library at 509-397-4366. 

*Participants are also welcome to bring any craft, crochet, knitting, or other project they are currently working on*
Preschool Storytime,
Rosalia Branch Library

Songs, games, stories and crafts are all part of the fun at Storytime!  This year we will be focusing on one letter each week.

FFN Play and Learn -
St John Branch Library

Play and Learn is a weekly program for preschoolers and the grown-ups who care for them.  While the kids play the adults can talk about the joys and struggles of growing little people.
Begins October 10 and will meet each Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the St. John Library through June 26.

Early Learning storytime is a free program that offers a valuable listening and pre-reading expeirence for chrildren birth to age 5.  Chrildren, parents/caretakers will enjoy engaging stories and participate in activities that include some songs, crafts, construction, and snacks.  The month of November will focus on colors. Sponsored by Whitman County Library.

Stop in as you walk the neighborhood and have some witches brew.
There will also be some fun games and activities provided!
Garfield Branch Library

Mini Carnival, Photo Area, Haunted House, Parade through Ladow Assisted Living, Costume Contest, and of course the Trunk-Or-Treat and Car Decorating Contest! Fun to be had by all, geared towards elementary age and younger children (spooky but no gore or people with chainsaws). The library will be participating in this town event on Halloween night, from 5pm to 7pm, in downtown Garfield, on California Street. All of the decorations featured in the Whitman County library van will be made by the children. Come on down and check out this fun event.
