Early Learning Story

This is an early learning Storytime for kids ages 1-5. The focus from September - October will be colors. Each week a different color will be discussed with a craft, songs, stories and a snack. Come join the fun! Sponsored by Friends of Whitman County Library.
Rising Stars Dance C

Children's dance classes through Rising Stars Dance Studios are available at the Colfax Library Center on Fridays from 4:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Classes are geared towards children 2 years and older and introduces them to a variety of genres including ballet, tap, tumble and jazz.
Schedule begins Friday, September 8, 2017. Level placements are required.
4:30 to 5 p.m.  - Colfax Pre Dance (Ballet, Tap, Jazz & Tumble) - Ages 2-4
5 to 5:45 p.m. - Colfax Dance Level 1 ( Ballet, Tap, Jazz & Tumble) - Ages 5-6
5:45 to 6:45 p.m. - Colfax Dance Level 2 ( Tap, Jazz & Tumble) - Placement
6:15 to 7:15 p.m. - Colfax Dance Level 3 ( Tap, Jazz & Tumble) - Placement

Keri Oldroyd has operated Rising Stars Dance Studio since 2007, teaching hundreds of students over the years. Her students participate in the end of the year recital* and perform in the Lentil Festival or during University sporting events.

Play and Learn is a weekly program for preschoolers and the grown-ups who care for them.  While the kids play the adults can talk about the joys and struggles of growing little people.

Begins September 29 and will meet each Friday at 10:15 a.m. at the Rosalia Library.
