Early Learning Storytime at the Colfax Library is a FREE program that offers a valuable listening and pre-reading experience for children birth to age 5. Children, parents/caregivers will enjoy engaging stories and participate in imaginative activities that include songs, fingerplays, action activities, crafts, puppets, and more each Thursday (unless library closed) Sept.14-June 7. Flex & Flow, Colfax

Flex & Flow Yoga meets every Thursday from 12:05 to 12:55 p.m. in the Colfax Library's meeting room. Flex and Flow is suitable for all levels. Poses focus on foundation, alignment, and breath; while building strength, flexibility, and focus. This class introduces Sun Salutations, linking movement with breath. It includes breath work (pranayama), joint opening, standing and seated poses, meditation, and relaxation. Modifications are offered to personalize your practice to your desired level.

Book club meets once a month, a group decision of which book we read will be decided .  Participants  read the book, think about the discussion questions and we will decide if we like the book or not, how we would have changed the outcome, the characters or if we would like to read another book by that author.  Every one has as opinion and we are open to listening.  A fun way to spend an hour and learn more about our neighbors.   Come join us.

Attention parents of children 2-10 years of age!  The Healthy Tekoa Coalition and the Washington DSHS are offering a researched based parenting class at the Rosalia library beginning January 18 and continuing for 6 weeks on Thursday evenings from 6 to 7:30 p.m.  Pre-registration is required and babysitting is paid. There is are $20 gift certificates awarded for 90% attendance.
