Science comes alive as we incubate and hatch chicken eggs. Come participate in fun activities like market egg dissections, candling, and eggciting experiments as we follow this amazing egg adventure.

Feb. 5 -
Embryology 101: Learn how the incubator provides warmth, humidity, and turning just like the mother hen. Get an inside look into the parts of the egg which help the embryo grow and develop. Plus, have the opportunity to dissect a market egg to identify these parts.

Feb. 12 -
Candling Day: View the progress of the eggs, view the developing embryos, and make predictions of what the chicks will look like when they hatch.

Feb. 26 -
Hatch Day: The chicks will start hatching around this day. Watch this eggciting experiment as we follow this amazing egg adventure!

This program is a series. By registering for this program you will be signing up for all three sessions.
