Preschool Storytime

Storytime is free story reading with related activities such as songs, finger-plays and more to promote early literacy. Programs are designed for parents to participate with their children.

Honor those who are no longer with us by contributing to MLK's community ofrenda. The ofrenda is a Día de Muertos tradition in which a collection of objects is placed on an altar in remembrance of the dead. This can include photos, personal items, calaveras (decorated skulls), and marigolds (or cempasúchiles), the flower of the dead.

Come dressed in your costumes and listen to spooky stories and songs for little ones. After storytime we'll go trick-or-treating through the library. Don't forget your bag or bucket for collecting candy! This event takes the place of our weekly preschool storytime.
