Imagine, design & construct using provided library materials & construction vehicles during this hands-on program that encourages building play specifically for our older preschoolers. Caregivers must remain with their children and are encouraged to play along too!

Adult patrons can join us at the Huntington Branch Library on Saturday, April 5 from 12:00pm-1:00pm for a Taylor Swift cross stitch workshop! Presenter Kate Noonan will provide patrons with the materials and instruction to create their own Taylor Swift inspired cross stitch craft. Registration is required.

Join Miss Kathi and Mr. Joe to discover your inner calmness. The Teen Wellness Circle is a multi-part program geared to teens only, ages 13 and older. Each month, we will discuss and practice strategies to take care of your mental health and well-being. This first session is an introduction and learn how to use journaling in a healthy way. Each session requires registration to allow teens to pick which sessions they want to be a part of. This program will occur at Plumb Library on Saturday, April 6 at 1 PM - 2 PM.

Looping, frogging & yarn barf, oh my! Crafty kids are welcome to join Fiber Artist, Ms. Becky to learn to crochet and learn the lingo too. Hands-on directions, yarn, and hooks will all be provided. Our APRIL Crochet Project is: Friendship Bracelet. 
 No prior crocheting experience needed. Caregiver will be expected to help their child succeed.

Each child will have a 10 minute appointment where they can bring their stuffed animals, for a "check-up" and learn about health and wellness in a friendly environment.  The Teddy Bear Clinic is designed to help children understand basic health concepts while engaging in hands-on activities with their stuffed animals.
In addition to the "check-ups", there will be craft stations set up.  At the end of their appointment, children and their caregivers are welcome to stay and make some special crafts.
