Bobby Hunt, who calls himself “Circus Boy,” will be bringing his acrobatic and comedic one-man show to the Rensselaer Public Library. He has performed with the Ringling Bros. Circus. Circus Boy and has been documented with Ripley’s Believe it or Not for doing wheelies on a bike that’s only 3 inches long and 73/4 inches tall.

Lucy Hull, a children’s librarian in Hannibal, Missouri, finds herself both kidnapper and kidnapped when her favorite patron, ten-year-old Ian Drake, runs away from home. Ian needs Lucy’s help to smuggle books past his overbearing mother, who has enrolled Ian in weekly antigay classes. Desperate to save him from the Drakes, Lucy allows herself to be hijacked by Ian when she finds him camped out in the library after hours, and the odd pair embarks on a crazy road trip. Choose one of hundreds of patterns available, or bring your own. We’ll help you transfer it to a flat stone you choose, outline or fill in the design with markers and preserve it.
