				<title>Happy Birthday Martin Luther King, Jr.!</title>

				<description><![CDATA[<p><em>&quot;</em>I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.&quot; Martin Luther King, Jr., <em>Speech at Civil Rights March on Washington, August 28, 1963</em></p>  <p><em>&quot;</em>I refuse to accept the idea that the &quot;isness&quot; of man's present nature makes him morally incapable of reaching up for the &quot;oughtness&quot; that forever confronts him.&quot; Martin Luther King, Jr., <em>Speech accepting the Nobel Peace Prize, December 11, 1964</em></p>  <p>Martin Luther King, Jr., an American clergyman, activist and prominent leader in the African-American civil rights movement was born January 15th, 1929. In 1964, he&nbsp;became the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. 				<title>Libraries Closed for the Holidays</title>

				<description><![CDATA[<p>The libraries in the Crawford County Library System will be closed Thursday,&nbsp;Dcember 24th and Friday, December 25th&nbsp;for Christmas. The libraries that are normally open on Saturday and Sunday WILL be open. We will also be closed December 31st and January 1st for the New Year Holiday. We are sorry for any inconvienence.</p>  <p>We would also like to wish all of our wonderful patrons a Happy&nbsp;Holiday Season!!!</p> <P>

				<description><![CDATA[<p>For those of you out there who are on Facebook, all of the Crawford County Library System libraries have pages on Facebook!&nbsp; You can become a fan of the county library system itself, find your individual library, or become a fan of all of them! Keep up to date with the latest happenings, events and news at your library. 				<title>Downloadable Audiobooks</title>

				<description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Have you tried our new downloadable audiobooks services? If you like to listen to books while on the go or at your desk then this is for you. We have two different services available, NetLibrary and Arkansas Library2Go through Overdrive.</strong></p>  <p><strong>NetLibrary</strong></p>  <p>With NetLibrary you must first set up your online account at any Crawford County Library System library through our website. Then you can log in to your account and download audibooks from home.</p>  <p>1. Visit, <a href="http://www.crawfordcountylib.org">http://www.crawfordcountylib.org</a></p>  <p>2. Click on the link that says, &quot;Online Resources&quot;</p>  <p>3. Under the heading, &quot;Online Databases&quot;, click on NetLibrary</p>  <p>4. In the top right hand corner of the screen you will see, &quot;Create a Free Account&quot;. Follow the instructions.</p>  <p><strong>Arkansas Library2Go - Overdrive</strong></p>  <p>You will need to access Overdrive and download the media console to your home computer. These titles cannot be downloaded to a library computer</p>  <p>1. Visit <a href="http://www.crawfordcountylib.org">http://www.crawfordcountylib.org</a>, Click on the link that says, &quot;Online Resources&quot;, Under the heading, &quot;Online Databases&quot; click on Overdrive</p>  <p>2. You will need to login, your user id will be your CCLS library card number (the numbers under the barcode on the back of your blue library card) and your password is your 4 digit library PIN number. 				<title>September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month</title>

				<description><![CDATA[<p>Get the most important card you&rsquo;ll ever own...your library card! There is no time like the present to sign up at your local library and start checking out books, audio books, DVD&rsquo;s, CD&rsquo;s, downloadable audio books, online reference databases and much more. And best of all, it&rsquo;s free as long as you live or work in Crawford County. Bring an item that lists your current address and those under 18 must have a parent or guardian signature. As a special incentive to sign up, all those getting a new library card can enter a drawing for prizes. Check with your local library for details.</p> <P>
