Grace period introduced

Good news for borrowers who just can't seem to get their items back to the library on time! The library has just instituted a "grace period" for items that are overdue. You will have a few days to bring an item back, even after it is due, without having to pay a fine. But please notice: If an item is eight or more days late, you will be assessed a fine for all the days it is late. (Example: If a DVD is just a couple days late, there's no fine assessed. If that DVD is returned eight days late, a fine of $8.00, or $1.00 per late day, is assessed.)
