"The Immortal Rules" by Julie Kagawa

All her life, Allison Sekemoto has lived a life of danger. Whether it's fighting for her freedom against the vampires who dominate life or just finding food, the way she lives isn't an easy one. More than anything, Allison hates the vampires, who keep humans as their own personal walking, talking meals. Then, the unthinkable happens--Allison herself is turned into one of them. Forced to abandon the life she's always known and fight against her former kind, Allison hears of a legend. There is, supposedly a place where people can unbecome vampires. As she makes her journey there, though, she learns of loyalty and betrayal, love and loss and, most importantly, who she truly is.

The Immortal Rules is amazing, though it's not a light read. I'd recommend it to any and all readers who enjoy a little darkness in their books and to anyone who likes the fantasy genre in general.

When out buying a birthday present for her boyfriend, Tom, Jenny is inextricably drawn to the mysterious boy behind the counter who goes by the name Julian. She's never seen him before, but something about him draws her in. She doesn't expect it when the game she got suddenly starts happening in real life, with Julian in the center of it all. Soon enough, her friends are sucked into it all, heir own worst fears as their foes. To get out of it all, Julian wants one thing and one thing alone--Jenny. It'll take all of her strength to get her and her friends out of this one alive.

This was one of the books that really got me into reading. I've loved it since I first became a reader and will probably love it until the end. It's amazingly humorous, caring and heartbreaking, though it may be a little dark for some. This is an excellent book for any fantasy reader.

St. Vladimir's Academy isn't a regular school. It teaches the creatures of the night, the Moroi vampires and dhampirs, their guardians. Rose Hathaway and her best friend Lissa Dragomir have just gotten dragged kicking and screaming back into this life, the life they ran away from years ago. It's supposedly the most safe for them, but St. Vlad's contains many more dangers than they know. They both get caught up in ancient bloodlines, forbidden romances and the threat of one or both of them being turned into Strigoi, the most ruthless and cold-hearted killers to walk the Earth. Will they pull through, or will they succumb to the dark depths of the night?

This is a very good and unique interpretation of the common genre of teen vampire books. It has romance, intrigue, danger, loyalty and love. A great choice for fantasy lovers or just readers in general.

There's a lot about Meghan Chase's past that she doesn't know. When her little brother, Ethan, is kidnapped by faeries and her best friend turns out to be one, Meghan's entire world is turned upside down. As she journeys into the Nevernever, realm of the faeries, she discovers that she is the daughter of a faery king, used as a pawn in the deadly war between faeries. While in the Nevernever she meets a faery prince, cold and uncaring, but something about her seems to warm his icy heart.

The Iron King is a very good book and I would recommend it to any fan of the fantasy genre.

Kaylee Cavanaugh thinks she may be going crazy. She's started to sense when people around her are going to die, and what's worse is that she's unable to control the deafening screams she releases when it happens. When Kaylee is out one night and the urge to scream rises, enter Nash Hudson, a guy who knows more about who and, most importantly, what she is than he lets on. The death of the girl in the club is not the first, though, and soon Nash and Kaylee get caught up in something far bigger than they can begin to understand.

While the first book may not seem like much, this series is one of my all-time favorites to read. I highly recommend it.

Addison Coleman always makes the right choice for difficult decisions.
As a searcher, she can search what happens for either path of a choice. Now she has the ultimate choice. Her parents are divorcing and she has to choose between her mom and her dad. In one path she is the girlfriend
of the most popular guy in school. In the other she is falling for a cute, quiet artist. As her fates take a dark twist, she has to decide which path to take and must deal with the consequences.
This book was amazing! I recommend it to anyone, even if you don't usually read romances! This book is MORE than just a love story.

Sara haas some pretty amazing powers but doesn't always appreciate when she discovers she has many more. When one of her grandmother's patient's ghost visits Sara she embarks on a thrilling adventure to help find the missing jewels and meanwhile falls in love with a boy she's never met.
