Project LIT Community Book Club Meeting
Canton High School
Wednesday, Mar. 20, 2:30 PM
“Project LIT Community,” reads Time Bomb, by Joelle Charbonneau, and meets at Canton High School’s Media Center. Started as a Nashville educator’s community project to increase access to good books in areas with very limited reading opportunities, Project LIT grew into a school/library partnership to create enthusiastic readers through offering the right kind of books. Our official chapter will hold seven book club discussions this year. Other books planned are high-interest, culturally relevant books that encourage a diverse viewpoint. Grades 7-12; free. Registration is required, either by phone or on the library website under Upcoming Programs. Space is limited. Canton Middle/High School is at 76 Simonds Avenue, Canton. Information: call the library at (860) 693-5800, email mglasgow@cantonpubliclibrary.org, or visit www.cantonpubliclibrary.org.
