Local poet, L.R. Berger, will feature the poetry of Sam DeFlitch at our next “Poetry Conversation.”  DeFlitch is the author of Confluence (Broadstone Books, 2021). A National Poetry Series finalist, her work has appeared in The Missouri Review, Colorado Review, and Iron Horse Literary Review, among others. She has been the recipient of fellowships and awards from the Martha's Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing, The Massachusetts Poetry Festival, and the University of New Hampshire where she completed her MFA. She has taught writing at UNH and at Great Bay Community College. She lives in Portsmouth, NH with her corgi dog, Moose. We'll read some of her poems, learn a bit about her, and discover what moves or puzzles or delights us.
