Jacob Edwards Library

Thursday, Sep. 13, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
The Jacob Edwards Library would like to invite you to a book talk and signing with author Tracey Ryan on Thursday, September 13th, 2018 at 6:30 pm. Light refreshments will be served. All welcome! This second title is of particular interest to folks in Southbridge as local restaurant Mario's is featured in the story!

The next thrilling chapter of Tracey Ryan’s debut murder mystery trilogy launched last week with Wicked Shadow of the Hunter. The book’s cover and interior design were done by Luminare Press. It is available through various online retailers around the world, including Amazon. In Wicked Shadow of the Hunter, Ryan once again combines suspenseful storytelling with a rich depth to the characters, allowing readers to feel like they are part of the gripping plot. Taking place in Boston and Hardwick, the author continues the suspenseful story of Emma Sharpeton and Hunter Logan. Picking up where “Wicked Game of the Hunter” left off, Emma and Hunter quickly realize that dark shadows lurk around every corner, weaving a tangled web of deception and threats from the elusive stalker. The pair need to conquer a labyrinth of obstacles, including secrets buried deep in the past, before they become even more tangled in the spider’s web. When asked if she intended to write a trilogy, Ryan responded, “Actually, no. I had the story idea in my head and thought it’d be good for one book. It wasn’t until I started putting my thoughts into an outline that I realized I had enough content for a trilogy. It surprised me to be quite honest. And now that I’m finished with the second book and writing the third, part of me doesn’t want the story to end.” The buzz has continued with this next installment of the trilogy and has ignited local interest from readers. “Can’t wait to read it!” “I just ordered mine in time for my vacation!” “Cover looks great!” Tracey (Hahns) Ryan resides in central Massachusetts with her husband. She holds an undergraduate degree from Westfield State University and an MBA from Anna Maria College. Tracey has been a financial services marketing professional for over twenty years and devoted reader of mysteries almost her entire adult life. She is currently working on the follow-up to Wicked Shadow of the Hunter.
