Composting 101
Middlefield Branch

Tuesday, Jun. 5, 7:00 pm
or call (440) 632-1961.
Composting is nature’s way of recycling your trash to treasure!  Much of what we throw away as trash at home can be composted into rich healthy soil instead of piled into a landfill.  Join us for this fun, informative program to learn composting basics and benefits, different composting methods, and how to avoid common composting problems.  Presented by Gail Prunty of Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District. Participants will receive a kitchen compost pail while supplies last!

Interested in purchasing a wishing well compost bin? Pre-purchased bins can be picked up at the workshop by mailing a check in the amount of $35 made payable to Geauga Trumbull Solid Waste District, 5138 Enterprise Blvd. Warren, Ohio 44481. Payment must be received by Friday, June 1st in order to be available for pickup at the Middlefield Library from 6:30-7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 5th. For more information, please contact the Geauga Trumbull Solid Waste District at (330) 675-2673 or visit startrecycling.com.
