Scratch School, a four day program learning Scratch.
Scratch is a visual programming language. This program is run by Codeable Camps.
Open to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.

This program will give you the opportunity to put your creativity to the test. With a curriculum revolving around step-by-step walkthroughs of scripts, animations, and sprites, students will be introduced to many important programming concepts, while interacting with a fun and user-friendly environment. By the end of the course, students will have completed their very own Scratch-based game, utilizing various sprites, interactive user controls, and elements of game design.

No prior computer or programming knowledge is required to attend this program.
Attendees must be available for all four sessions.
Attendees are asked to bring their own laptop computers.

The library has a limited amount of laptops for use during this program, on a first come, first served basis.
Open to grades 6th, 7th, and 8th.
