If you are a New Medicare enrollee, HICAP is offering a presentation for all new Enrollees. HICAP provides free and unbiased information and counseling about Medicare. HICAP’s statewide network of nonprofit organizations is the only agency authorized by the California Department of Aging to provide Medicare counseling. Throughout the year, HICAP offers free community education presentations to Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo County residents who are Medicare eligible as well as to their caregivers and family members. Presentation topics include New to Medicare, Medicare Updates, Changes in Medicare and HICAP services.
