City of Santa Maria

It's a cat-and mouse game between a bicycle courier named Wilee (Gordon-Levitt) and a corrupt police officer that takes place in Manhattan, New York. The goal: the package the Wilee has to deliver. This is a fast-paced, edge-of-your-seat movie that highlights one job--albeit dramatized--of many jobs that are related to working with bicycles!
The movie will serve as a kickoff event for the Library's new program, Bike Kitchen. A brief discussion about the upcoming Bike Kitchen programs will precede the movie. Each month from March through August of 2019, free bike clinics will be offered at the Library.
The Bike Kitchen programs are supported in whole or in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
