Furoshiki is the Japanese art of wrapping objects in cloth. This elegant and ecological art is used for both practical carrying of objects and for presentation of gifts. Participants will learn how to wrap items such as bottles, books and packages to offer as gifts. We will also make a shopping bag to carry on the shoulder and a double book wrap to carry books or binders. Participants do not need to bring materials. All materials will be provided. You only need to be able to fold and tie a basic overhand knot to participate.
