Join us for our third event of our series:
River Views: An Appreciation of Our State's Namesake Waterway

The Connecticut River Museum will be bring two great programs to the library. Join us as we learn about the people of the river and how to keep our river clean. You will work in teams in both of the programs. Space is limited to 25 per program. Please sign up at www.brainerdlibray.org to save your space. These programs are for third graders and up, families and all who want to learn about the river.
River Dwellers:  Join us as we travel through time and along the 410 miles of the CT River in this fun history build-out!  We will work in teams to explore different broad groups of people who came to the River Valley, find out how they built their communities, used the natural resources, and interacted with each other.  The base for our program is a 20 foot floor map of the River.
CT River in a Jar:  Where does water pollution come from?  How do we clean up our waterways? Be prepared to get your hands dirty in this science wet lab activity as we explore sources of pollution, how different pollutants affect waterways and how to clean it up!
