For adults 55+.  Learn to paint realistically. Participants will gain experience about how to get started on the blank canvas. Some basic drawing skills will be taught when appropriate. Participants will gain familiarity with paint pigments/colors and how to mix them to represent light and shadow so as to create depth and dimension. Participants will also learn how to use basic brushes and a variety of brushstrokes and techniques will be presented.   This is a nine week program on Wednesdays from 2:30-4  p.m. beginning September 27.  Made possible by Liftetime Arts, the CT State Library and the CT Arts Council.
