Spotswood Public Library, 548 Main Street

Saturday, Mar. 14, 3 pm - 4pm
Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) occurs when the diaphragm muscle — the muscle that separates the chest from the abdomen — fails to close during prenatal development.  About 1,600 babies are born with CDH every year in the U.S.,
or 1 in every 2,500 births.

Learn more about CDH and hear how one Spotswood family is dealing with the challenges of this diagnosis.  Presented by Marylin Israel.

Must be 18. Registration required.
