Food for Thought: Cookbook Club
Spotswood Public Library

Wednesday, Feb. 19, 1:00 pm
or call 732-251-1515.
Our new Adult Cookbook Club is open to members ages 18 and up to explore different types of cuisines in a supportive and inclusive environment. The purpose of this cookbook club is not only to create tasty food, but to promote connections in the community while exploring different cultures through the common language of food.

- Each month we will explore a new cookbook or a new theme! Please bring a copy of the recipe that you make. Recipes will be compiled into a booklet and shared at the next meeting.

February's theme is Chocolate

- To participate, choose a recipe that fits the theme and bring enough for 10-12 people to sample. By participating, attendees accept that they will be consuming food that has not been prepared in a commercial kitchen.
- Cutlery, plates, and refreshments will be provided. There will also be a microwave available to heat small dishes up, but bringing hot dishes that are already heated is strongly encouraged.
- During this meeting, we will taste test the dishes and talk about our general impressions of the theme, the cookbooks, experiences, and of course, the food!
