Silent Auction

Sunday, Nov. 11, (November 1-30)
The Friends of the DeMotte Library invite book collectors to name their price during a Silent Auction, held throughout the month of November.  Bidding will begin on November 1 and run through November 30 at 5pm.  Winning bidders will be notified on December 1.  Some items up for bid during this auction are 4 miniature nursery rhyme books housed in a cardboard rocking horse, "Rock-a-Bye Rhymes"; a plush Eeyore with 2 pop-up books, "Eeyore Loses a Tail" and "Pooh and Piglet Nearly Catch a Woozle"; "McGuffey's New Sixth Reader"; "Gooseberry Patch Old-Fashioned Country Christmas"; 4 dvd set, "Madmen" series 1; "Professional Baking" by Wayne Gislen; "The American Farm Tractor" by Randy Leffingwell, as well as many more items that you won't want to miss!  Proceeds from the auction will be used by the Friends of the Library for the purchase of equipment and services in support of the DeMotte Library.  Items up for bid are housed in a display case near the the circulation desk in the DeMotte Library.  For more information, visit or call the library, 219-987-2221.
