"How to Let Go of the World" Zoom Discussion
Zoom meeting

Saturday, Feb. 6, 1:00-3:00 pm

As part of the grant “Resilient Communities: Libraries Respond to Climate Change” that the Georgetown Library received through the American Library Association we have the opportunity to offer a free virtual screening of the documentary How to Let Go of the World and Love All the Things Climate Can’t Change. In How to Let Go of the World, Oscar-nominated director Josh Fox (Gasland) continues in his deeply personal style, investigating climate change—the greatest threat our world has ever known. Traveling to 12 countries on 6 continents, the film acknowledges that it may be too late to stop some of the worst consequences and asks, what is it that climate change can’t destroy? What is so deep within us that no calamity can take it away? Streaming will be available through the month of January. Join the Zoom group discussion on Saturday, February 6th at 1:00 pm, hosted by the Library in partnership with KFOK Radio and the Divide Climate Council.
**Resilient Communities: Libraries Respond to Climate Change is a pilot program of the American Library Association.

The Georgetown Library also has DVD copies of the film available for checkout.
