EDH - "Egg"stronaut Workshop

Saturday, Jul. 27, 1:00 - 3:00 pm
This interactive workshop is presented by NASA Solar System Ambassador, Michaela Neal.
The challenge is to build a landing capsule and drag device using recylced materials provided by the library. Participants will work in teams and act as NASA engineers, inspectors, scientists, and reporters. Together, we'll use recycled materials to build an efficient landing capsule to safely drop the "egg"stronauts to the surface of Mars, test our contraptions, and discuss our results.

Participants must arrive by 1:15 pm to be placed on a team and assigned a role.
For ages 7-14, only.
In order to create a learning environment appropriate for tweens, age limits will be enforced.
