The 2020 African American History Month Exhibit -- The Bostick Family: A Journey to Freedom
Main Library

Saturday, Feb. 1
The African American Heritage Society's 2020 African American Exhibit, THE BOSTICK FAMILY: JOURNEY TO FREEDOM, will be on display during the entire month of February in the Special Collections Department on the 2nd floor. There will also be special displays in the cabinets next to the elevator. Please join us during library hours to view the exhibit.

Before the Civil War, about one hundred people were enslaved in the Triune area of eastern Williamson County by the John C. Bostick family. This exhibit traces three lines of descendants that branched out from the Triune Bostick family.

Library hours are Monday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.; Friday-Saturday, 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.; and Sunday from 1:00 until 5:30 p.m.
Sponsored by The Special Collections Department.
