Your summer garden starts winding down in the fall, but there are still plenty of veggies to keep you busy. There are many plants that prefer the cool temperatures of the fall and winter … and many that don’t. Get tips on cool-season vegetable gardening and maintenance as well as hints on preserving and protecting your plants and harvest.
Sadira Ebert is a retired food scientist who worked for Mars/Nutro for 12 years in Research and Development. She volunteers as a board member for the Williamson County Master Gardeners and is a certified Square Foot Garden Teacher from the Square Foot Garden Foundation by Mel Bartholomew. Sadira also manages plot assignments for the Thompson's Station Community Gardens. Sadira is passionate about using her food science skills in cooking from farm to fork and utilizing organic practices in gardening.
