You don't need an apointment.  If you have papers about your legal problem, bring them with you.  Someone will ask you about your legal problem and your income, but you don't have to have a certain income to get advice.

You will meet with a lawyer in confidence.  The lawyer will talk with you about your legal problem and give you some advice.  If you need more help, you may be eligible for a referral to the Legal Aid Society or to a volunteer lawyer from the williamson County Bar Association  or Nashville Pro Bono Program.
