Fitness for Families
Eastern Sky, 40 E. Commerce St., Bridgeton

December 9, January 13, 6:30-7:30PM
In the midst of busy school schedules and packed weekends, how do you make time for family, fitness, and enrichment? Problem solved! A brand new exercise class, called “Fitness For Families”, and taught by Nikki Marie from Eastern Sky Co-Op, encourages fun and exercise for the whole family. Everyone between the ages of 6 and 96 is welcome to attend!

Fitness For Families was created in a special partnership with the Cumberland County Library, and will be FREE of charge for all participants.

Whether you're a seasoned trainer, a newbie to the gym, a teenager looking for something to do outside of school, or just a kiddo with a lot of energy, this class is appropriate for all levels. Participants can look forward to games, teamwork, challenges and even prizes.

Although this is a family-friendly exercise class, anyone over age 15 may attend by themselves. Children ages 6-14 must come with a guardian. We ask that kids under age 6 please stay at home for safety considerations.

The first session of the class takes place on Thursday, November 11th from 6:30-7:30pm at Eastern Sky’s facilities, located on the second floor of the Hopeloft at 40 E Commerce St, Bridgeton, NJ 08302. Additional classes will be held at Eastern Sky from 6:30-7:30pm on 12/9/21 and 1/13/22.

No need to worry about parking, as there are always plenty of free street parking spaces available in historic downtown Bridgeton.

Participants are encouraged to wear whatever clothing they feel comfortable exercising in. Also, everyone should bring their own towels and water bottles. Mats are also encouraged, but they will be available to those who do not have their own.

Please note- registration is REQUIRED for this limited-space class. You may sign up in-person at the Cumberland County Library, by calling (856) 453-2210 Ext. 26104, via email:, or by using the online registration link available on the library’s Facebook page (available at
