Nathan Barnes (born Salt Lake City) is an artist, curator, and educator. He holds a BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Utah, and a MFA in Studio Art from Idaho State University. His artwork has appeared in solo exhibitions in Idaho, Texas, Utah, and Washington, and group exhibitions throughout the United States. He has spent the last decade programming, organizing and curating diverse exhibitions, developing artist studios, and providing his students with opportunities to enhance their visual art skills and cultural awareness. Nathan is full-time art faculty at Grays Harbor College. He was gallery coordinator at South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia, Washington.
