Teen Photography Contest!

“Teen Photography Contest!” Submissions continue at Canton Public Library through Friday, October 26, the deadline. Enter the first-ever Teen Photography Contest at the Canton Public Library!  Inviting all aspiring middle and high school photographers to snap and submit potential award-winning photos.  Submissions will be featured in November’s month-long photographic art show at the Library. Open to Farmington Valley residents and students in grades 7-12.  Drop off your 8x10 photos to the library or email high-resolution jpgs to mglasgow@cantonpubliclibrary.org.  All emails should include name, age, grade, school, and photo title.  If you are dropping off a physical photo, your name, age, grade, school and photo title should be listed on the back of the print.  Maximum of three photographs per teen. Winners will be judged by a panel of local photographers and artists and will be announced at the opening reception and awards ceremony at the Library on Wednesday, November 14th at 6:00 PM. The exhibit will be on display from November 1st – November 30th. Canton Public Library is at 40 Dyer Avenue, Canton.
