Adult Summer Reading Challenge Begins
Canton Public Library

Monday, Jun. 25, 10:00 AM
Summer Reading Challenge Begins for Adults at Canton Public Library. A simple entry form gives a choice of creative, fun categories to check off as you read. Try a “biography or memoir,” one “about a culture/place you are unfamiliar with”, or even “use one of our databases, such as Lynda, Hoopla, or Mango Languages.” There are 11 categories including reading topics and online databases. Read or accomplish four items on the list and earn a chance to win gift cards and other special prizes. There is no limit on the number of entries from each adult reader for the August 22 drawing. To play, obtain an entry form from the library and read book types or do activities from the list. Name the books/activities on the form. Then turn in your completed form at the circulation desk to enter the prize drawing.  Bonus: While supplies last, receive a free official Canton Public Library gift when you pick up an entry form! Other than writing on and submitting your entry list, no registration is required and the Challenge is free. For those more obscure list categories, ask library staff to help you find the right book. Canton Public Library is at 40 Dyer Avenue, Canton.  For more information please call (860) 693-5800, email kbunn@cantonpubliclibrary.org, or visit www.cantonpubliclibrary.org.
