Mini Green Screen #1
Join us at 6:30pm to watch a short film about bees in the state of NJ: On the Brink by award winning film journalist Adya Beasley, then stay online for a a half hour program presented by MEVO (Mahwah Environmental Volunteers Organization) Bee Expert, Violet Reed that starts at 7pm.
Pollinators come in many shapes and sizes and are the seemingly invisible workforce helping our flowers bloom, our fruits to grow, and our veggies to produce, yet they are under threat. What are the threats facing our local and native pollinators and our honeybee population? How do we feel these effects in Bergen County? How can we mitigate these effects and bolster the health of our pollinators with low cost and simple solutions? Join
MEVO resident bee expert as she shares with us what we can do.
