Westwood Free Public Library
Coffee and Conversation
ONLINE ZOOM

Wednesday, Nov. 4, 10am-11:30am
The Westwood Library and Westwood for All Ages are teaming up to bring you a new conversation group starting this fall.  Grab a cup of coffee (or tea!) and join us online.  Once registered, you'll receive an invite each week.  This group is meant to be a fun, social gathering with an intent to learn about podcasts and share some of our favorites with each other.  If you've never listened to a podcast, this group is for you.  If you love podcasts, this group is for you, too!

Podacasts, which started in 2013, are multi-episode audio shows accessible online.  Podcasts are informative and entertaining and generally centered on a certain topic or theme. There are currently 850,000 active podcasts and over 30 million podcast episodes and more than half of all US consumers above the age of 12 listen to podcasts.

We'll get started with a focus on the podcast 99% Invisible.  This podcast is an independently produced, award-winning,  show about design, architecture & invisible things shaping our world.  Each week, we'll listen to an episode and discuss!  All participants who join one or all of our Coffee and Conversation meetings will be entered for a chance to win a copy of the  forthcoming book:   (Will available at the Library, too, if you want to check it out.  For any questions, please contact the Library at (201)664-0583.
